Evelyne made this snuggly flannel quilt from a pattern called “Good to be Square” by Quilter’s Dream.
Because frogs and dragonflies live happily together in swampy areas, I quilted it with Vickie Malaskie’s dragonfly pattern.
A delightful quilt!
Amy’s husband Fred is an ardent hockey fan (Go Red Wings!) who has compiled an impressive collection of hockey memorabilia. Amy spent many years collecting hockey fabric until she had enough to make this wonderful hockey quilt. Amy fussy cut the designs and sashed them in red. The fabulous backing fabric sports logos of many NHL hockey teams. Fred is going to love this quilt!
The top was quilted with a design called Hockey by Anne Bright. The thread is clear MonoPoly by Superior on top with a light blue cotton wrapped poly in the bobbin.
